Blauwtrust Groep acquires minority interest in ROMEO Financiële diensten

Blauwtrust Groep B.V. (hereinafter: BTG) is pleased to announce that it will acquire a minority stake in Romeo FD by acquiring the stake from Aegon Growth Capital Fund. This will further support the future growth of the company. Financial terms of the proposed transaction will not be disclosed.

Founded in 1985 and based in Capelle aan den IJssel, the Netherlands, BTG is the leading independent Dutch player in mortgage servicing and distribution. Blauwtrust Groep is active in all parts of the mort-gage value chain through:

  • De Hypotheker: the largest independent mortgage broker in the Netherlands with a network of franchisees with 178 branches throughout the country;
  • Conneqt: Creates and distributes mortgage labels through a network of independent advisors. These are 1450 direct relations and more than 4000 relations through eight service providers. Conneqt's five mortgage labels are Hypotrust, IQWOON, Robuust, HollandWoont and Clarian Wonen:
  • DMPM: a fast-growing platform that enables direct investments in the Dutch mortgage market for institutional investors, with an active portfolio of more than 11 billion euros;
  • Quion: the largest independent servicer of residential mortgages and consumer loans in the Netherlands with more than 80 billion euros in assets under management.

BTG is the only service provider with a full-service offering from investor to consumer.
