Managing credit risk
Our credit managers diligently implement controls to keep credit risk at a minimum. They conduct thorough assessments at the file level, analyse payment delays, and continuously evaluate underwriting frameworks to identify adjustments needed to reduce investor risks. In this, we constantly seek the balance between looking after investors' interests on the one hand, and accommodating consumers on the other.
The synergy between our credit managers and portfolio management colleagues plays a vital role in maintaining the quality of investors' portfolios. The seamless interplay between data analytics, credit management, and portfolio management enables us to shift perspectives and respond flexibly to evolving scenarios.
Servicer oversight
The underwriting process is handled by our sister organisation Quion, which is also part of the Blauwtrust Group. Meanwhile, DMPM consistently monitors and conducts on-going spot checks to ensure compliance with regulatory and investor requirements. We meticulously evaluate aspects such as income verification, employer's statement, valuation reports, BKR registration, and intermediary-verified ID checks. In case of incidents or complaints, we promptly analyse and collaborate with Quion to implement preventive measures.
ISAE reporting
To provide transparency on process controls, risk management, information security, and anti-fraud measures, we conduct regular audits within the ISAE 3402 framework. These reports offer investors assurance on risk management and internal control.
